Born and raised in Keewatin Ontario, I grew up fishing Lake of the Woods and many other bodies of water in beautiful Sunset Country. Targeting various species throughout the years, I fell in love with the complexity of Walleye fishing and learning from experienced friends involved in tournament fishing, I began competing alongside them out on the water. Having a passion for sharing my knowledge and promoting the sport of fishing, I became involved in creating an annual charity fishing tournament in the Dryden area for Police Officers, Paramedics, and their families. Kingfisher has supported our tournament from the beginning and I am more than happy to now be a part of the Kingfisher team.
