At the heart of every 2825 Coastal Express is KingFisher’s proprietary Pre-Flex® hull technology. This trademarked process creates a stronger, lighter hull with a variable 16° deadrise that cuts through chop and delivers a smooth, fast-planing ride even in demanding coastal conditions. Combined with heavy-gauge all-welded aluminum construction, a 0.190 bottom thickness, and 0.160 sides, the 2825 Coastal Express is built to handle serious water without compromise.
The 2825 Coastal Express’s extended transom pilot house design sets it apart from conventional hardtop fishing boats. With 8′ of cabin length and 6’2″ of headroom, there’s genuine standing room inside — enough space to run comfortably to the grounds, stay protected in changing weather, and arrive ready to fish. High sides and a 3’1″ side height provide the security and confidence you need when conditions get serious.
Purpose-built for anglers who fish to the limit, the 2825 Coastal Express features an 83 USG cockpit floor fish locker, a 35 USG transom fish locker, and an 11′ aft cockpit purpose-designed for working the deck efficiently. With an 85 USG fuel capacity for long runs to remote fishing grounds, an approximate dry weight of 4,050 lbs, and a 7′ bottom width delivering exceptional stability at anchor and while fighting fish, this boat was built for one thing — to catch bigger fish.
